Employabilty

'Employability' encompasses all the things that enable people to increase their chances of getting a job, staying in a job, and progressing further in work.

Scotland's employability framework, Workforce Plus, recognised the need for real partnership working between agencies especially at local level.

Workforce Plus sets out the approach to helping people in Scotland move from welfare to work. It made a commitment to provide national leadership and support local action to address the challenges facing us all to improve people's employability through a range of services.
