NHSScotland aims to deliver the highest quality of healthcare services to people in Scotland and, through this, to be recognised as amongst the best in the world.
Launched in May 2010, the Quality Strategy sets the overall direction for achieving this, now and in the future.
The Quality Strategy is a development of Better Health, Better Care (2007) which builds on the significant achievements of the last few years, such as the improvements made in waiting times, the approach to tackling Healthcare Associated Infection and improvements made to ensure the safety of patients in our hospitals.
